If you read my last post on wings, you know how much I love them. I have been on the hunt for the best wings in University City for some time and I think I've found "the one." Abner's, how I love thee.

But just in case, I'm trying as many as I can – just to be sure.

This time I tried Drexel Pizza.

Kristen Stewart has made quite a splash on the fashion scene. Some people hate her, but most people just want to be her. She is effortlessly cool, super famous, and not to mention she is dating one of Hollywood's biggest heart throbs, Rob Pattinson. Whether she is walking the streets of L.A. with him or gracing the front page of yet another major magazine, Kristen always does so in style. She is a fan of the rocker grunge look, and she truly lived the part in her role as Joan Jett in "The Runaways". Kristen certainly is not afraid of mixing it up, and one thing that I am most envious of is her fearlessness of trying new trends. She always ends up looking chic.

The Company We Keep released a 7" EP with 3 singles through Mad Dragon Records and The Boombox Generation, the latter being a record label owned by Motion City Soundtrack. The EP is part of the Making Moves Series, a partnership between Motion City Soundtrack and Music Industry students at Drexel University to curate five bands and their creation of 7" records. This week's edition of the Food Truck Guide features SWEETBOX

and is bringing you a story about a satisfied sweet tooth. Last week at my anonymous co-op I was researching the best places in Philly to get a cupcake and as anyone could guess I got a serious craving. This went on for days until I finally hunted down (via Twitter, of course) the Sweetbox cupcake truck that I had seen on Drexel's campus a few times. And it. Was. Awesome.

On May 2nd, Drexel was lucky enough to be graced with the presence of Angela Aherndts, the CEO of Burberry. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the brand, it is a British luxury fashion house, manufacturing clothing, fragrance, and fashion accessories. Its distinctive tartan pattern has become one of its most widely copied trademarks. Burberry is most famous for its iconic trench coat. As Angela mentioned several times during her time speaking, Burberry was born from a coat. Currently, Burberry is the fourth largest growing company. The first is Apple, the second Google and the third Amazon. To see Burberry up there with those other companies that are not fashion oriented, it is a major success that Burberry is right up there with those monumental companies.

 If you haven't noticed, it's been a super strange spring and summer weather wise (let's face it, a super strange year in total). We've had everything from "warm & sunny" to "muggy & humid" and it's a little confusing. But the sun will come out tomorrow (or the day/ week after). And when that happens, you're going to need looking your best for the occasion. As such, here are my loose recommendations taken from the designers' collection for Men's Spring 2012. Add a comment

This week's "Modern Family" episode, as per usual, dealt with some of the most common and hilarious issues that families deal with on a daily basis. The way-too-accurate depictions of everyday struggles were so real and well written that at certain points it had me rolling on the floor with laughter!

Mad Dragon Records, Drexel University's very own student-run record label is making major waves in the music world. Mad Dragon teamed up with Motion City Soundtrack (MCS) to curate a series for 5 unsigned bands. All bands have worked on 3 singles with MCS and Music Industry students for a special project called Making Moves. The singles will be co- released through Mad Dragon Records and Motion City Soundtrack's label, The Boombox Generation from May through November. The singles will be distributed digitally as well as on 7'' vinyl records. Add a comment
