Noises Off, Laughs On

Back in May, the Drexel Players Closed the school year with a play within a play and lots of laughs! Watching the Drexel Players' production of Michael Frayn's 1982 play "Noises Off," I was singlehandedly cured of my fear of student-run theater productions brought about by repeated viewings of my high school's disorderly plays throughout the years.

The biggest remedy, I think, was the laughter this self-described "perfectly playful and promiscuous performance" brought. This production was just funny. EU Correspondent Joe Mathew took us back stage in the video below! Also, continue reading after the jump.

Broadway at the Academy

nyc broadwayI guess I'm a little late on the "welcomes" and "hellos" to the 2011-2012 school year. That's right folks; fall term is well under way. And now that we've all made our way back to the "2-1-5", there's one question on most people's minds: what's new in the City of Brotherly Love?

Let's think for a second: you're in college. You live in the city. Maybe you're going on a date or you're with friends. Where should you go? What should you do? Listen up, non theater-aficionados: do yourself a favor; give it a chance, go see a Broadway show.
